They really should give SQ42 for free to anyone who dropped more than $1000 on this game.. not that I know anyone who would do such an incredibly irresponsible thing *cough*
Wait wait wait. I thought that every backer gets SQ42 for free. That's why I bought an aurora mk2 more then a decade ago anyway cause it would give me SQ42 acces. (cause SQ42 was comming in 6 months then )

Who Gets Squadron 42?
• Before February 14, 2016: All standard Star Citizen game packages automatically included Squadron 42 at no extra cost. If you pledged during this time and your package still has SQ42 attached, you own it.
• After February 14, 2016: Cloud Imperium Games (CIG) split the Star Citizen Persistent Universe and Squadron 42 into separate purchases. Buying a standard Star Citizen package did not include SQ42 (though a separate add-on option was available for a time before being removed).
• Concierge Members: A one-time perk in early 2022 granted Squadron 42 to certain Concierge-level backers who already had SQ42 in their hangars at that exact time. It is not an ongoing automatic reward for reaching Concierge status today."

Can you estimate the system requirements for Star Citizen?
There will be a lot of optimization in the next 24-months, plus the usual fast pace of technology, so it is hard to say absolutely. At the moment you will be able to play it on a dual core PC with a GTX 460 or greater and 4GB of system memory. If you’re running an i7 2500, 2600, 2700 or better with a GTX 670 or greater then the stars are the limit! Since the game is built on CryEngine, their system requirements will stay roughly the same as ours.
