I paid 70 EUR for about 2 years of GPU and still feel cheated. Glad it runs out next month.

https://www.eurogamer.net/next-halo-game-developer-call-of-duty-stuidio-xbox-restructuring
| Quote: | Next major Halo game being developed by Activision, as Halo Studios all but closes as part of Microsoft's Xbox restructuring
A "purpose-built" team separate to Call of Duty will handle it.
Halo Studios (formerly 343 Industries) won't develop the next mainline Halo game because it's being what sounds like drastically reduced in size. Microsoft has instead given development duty to Activision, which is making "a new purpose-built team" separate to Call of Duty to make it.
"We are eliminating 268 roles across Halo Studios, other first-party studios, and the XGS management and central functions layer," Xbox Studios boss Matt Booty wrote in a statement. "Activision will also be developing the next Halo title, led by a new, purpose-built team that is separate from ongoing development and plans for Call of Duty. A small team at Halo Studios will continue supporting the Halo community and games in-market," Booty wrote.
In a statement provided to Kotaku, Activision president Rob Kostich said: "We're thrilled to welcome Halo, Rare, and World's Edge to Activision." (Rare is also going to Activision.) "It's an honor and a responsibility that we do not take lightly. These teams and their games have inspired fans around the world for decades.
"For Halo, our goal is clear: make the greatest Halo game ever, worthy of its universe and legacy, while staying true to what made players love it in the first place. It is a bold ambition, one that this franchise deserves. We have already begun assembling a purpose-built team, unique in capability and talent, ready and excited to deliver this next chapter with the community."
The news arrives as part of another wave of major Microsoft Xbox restructuring, which has seen hundreds more people lose their jobs, British studio Ninja Theory close, and studios like Obsidian and Rare, as mentioned, consolidated into being controlled by others.
The Halo series, originated by Bungie, was overseen by 343 Industries/Halo Studios ever since Bungie bought its independence from Microsoft in 2007. Halo Studios (it rebranded in 2024) made a number of mainline Halo games, including 2012's Halo 4, 2015's Halo 5: Guardians, 2021's Halo Infinite, and most recently the reboot of Halo 1, Halo: Campaign Evolved.
Halo Studios also collaborated on every other Halo project, including 2014's Halo: The Master Chief Collection and the Halo Wars games. This move by Microsoft is, then, a significant departure for the Halo series.

I don't get it. 343 industries made decent Halo games. Couldn't they just go back to making games like they did? Seems very roundabout. They tried making a more halo open world this time, it kinda failed. Ok, go back to making games like before then.
Unless they were totally stumped on what to make. Then i get it.

| Quote: | New Xbox Elite controller appears in Xbox Design Lab backend: Hall-effect/TMR sticks, advanced haptics, audio scroll wheel and new paddle designs
There are configuration records and 16 actual 3D component models in the backend used by Xbox Design Lab. The controller is codenamed Edessa, linked to an accessory/customization product called Beatrice.
The most interesting features
Hall-effect and TMR sticks: Separate module options for standard, loose and tight Hall effect, plus TMR—suggesting a choice of magnetic sensing technology and stick resistance.
Advanced haptics: The motor option explicitly names “Impulse Triggers (ERMs) & Advanced Haptics (VCAs) Motors,” suggesting voice-coil haptics alongside trigger vibration.
Audio scroll wheel: A dedicated “Audio Scroll Wheel Color” setting points to an integrated audio control wheel.
Faceplate options: Metal, named designs, extensive colors and engraving.
Low-friction/Silent sticks: A named option with its own silent stick-neck 3D model, alongside standard and long variants.
More paddle designs: Model files include standard, classic and doublewide paddles. Configuration choices include short/long paddles, a Butterfly entry and layouts without top paddles.
Performance D-pads: Standard, cross and grippy/faceted choices, divided into cosmetic and performance builds.
Accessory combinations: Beatrice has 27 mapped topper/paddle configurations.
Four controller SKU combinations
Backend SKU Package Motors
EP2-69782 Elite Complete Included
EP2-69783 Elite Complete Excluded
EP2-69784 Base Included
EP2-69785 Base Excluded
The package mappings indicate short bottom paddles, no top paddles and a cable for the base configuration. Elite Complete adds a case and charging dock, and selects long bottom paddles plus short top paddles.
