Why do ppl keep imagining this is a one guy operation?
Anyway they already said everything would resume just as before... if that's true or not time will tell I guess

Onimusha does have Denuvo. There is a Hypervisor version of Onimusha out there

Or get replacement Denuvo tokens from reddit. No need to disable security features.

Finished it in about 32 h, doing basically everything. And everything have to do to get all the upgrades, the side content is really only optional if you are fine with skipping many upgrades or unlocks, as it's the only real way to get the materials for it.
It's a great game overall, glad I played it. The animations are top notch, really great to just watch the fights. As I already wrote somewhere above, the fights are also done in a way that makes them easy to read and react. You have a strictly defined toolset and it's typically clear when you need to use what.
The "dungeon" (for a lack of a better word) are the best part of the game, when it progresses linearly. However, the most time is spent in the open hub of Eastern Kyoto, which is neither pretty (needs more color, at least when you free a region) not interesting to navigate. It all looks samey. The previous games were at least a bit metroidvania style with the gauntlet getting new abilities which would unlock previous doors, none of that exists here.
The characters are mostly charming and interesting, and the banter between the main guy and some of the bossses is enjoyable.
The story itself is lacking a bit. Basically you are just running behind all game and not interacting much with really anyone directly in a way that would push the story forward. You are mostly a passenger to events happening around you, not the driver.
My biggest complaint is probably the asset reuse. The bosses are fun, but you fight the same few ones over and over again. Which is kinda nice at first because a boss that got you struggling now you know exactly how you take them, but it slightly overstays its welcome.
I realize I mostly wrote about negative parts here, the combat is really the core of the game and it shines. Can honestly recommend.
