IIRC, luke s(oy)tephens mentioned that only the shill youtubers were getting invited for early previews/playtests on both of the DLC's so that tells you the audience/feedback they're interested in.
I'd also bet every last penny that everyone there is confused seeing games like KCD2, Blood of the Dawnwalker, etc having good word of mouth and doing good/decent numbers on sales.
There's no saving bethesda as a developer IMO

STAR-field is the SKY-rocketed culmination of Bethesda's trend/direction that STAR-ted all the way back to Oblivion.
Then, it continued with SKY-rim - where -- fuck knows why -- somehow (Palpatine returned and) people were fooled into thinking this simple, derpified, streamlined game was a mah-STAR-piece.
Finally, the absolute down-dumbing and streamlining of the experience reached the STARS: STARFAILED.
Sadly for Bethesda, here is where people started to woke up...

Honestly, I personally like A LOT the world art direction in Starfield.
I like how you can interact with the world and the "painstakingly" crafted details.
