This one is immediately on the backburner as I need to go back to finish Plague Tale: Requiem first
orly really. Maybe finish Innocence first! No need to instabuy it though you'll get it for """""""""""""""""""""""""""free""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" on game pass
Come on people, give us some general impressions at least. How does this compare to previous games, especially now that they seem to have added direct combat? Are the environments still gorgeous?
“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”
- Albert Camus
I played until chapter 8. The environments are nice, I like the puzzles. It's mostly combat with a few mandatory stealth segments and the combat is serviceable.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
So, I've been playing it for an hour or so.. and I gotta ask...
1) Does the combat get better? I finished the carnival\arsenal mission and got my first 5 resonance points. For now the combat feels kinda primitive and very easy. The game throws at you a large number of mobs you can 2-3 shot. No challenge so far. I hope it gets better =)
2) The skill tree looks extremely simplified. Will it expand into more skills later on?
3) No ray tracing?
PS It looks beautiful but I think the Plague 2 looked better tbh.. I can't say much about the story tbh cz I haven't played much, but I was more intrigued by the previous games' story.
