I have long held the thought, that Scorsese is completely right about Marvel (juvenile rollercoaster and not actual cinema). Whedon style Marvel banter is horrendous, and should be punishable. These trailers don't convince me otherwise.
But I have to add - the CGI just looks abysmal here. Everything is weightless. I thought these characters died like a thousand times already, yet here they are again. Zero stakes.
At this point I don't blame Disney. I simply just don't understand, who spends money on this.
It's movies for kids. Their parents spends money on them.
Less and less kids go to the movies, and even less and less want to see these craps. Deadpool and Wolverine, rated R, was watched by a mostly mature audience (the kind that still visits cinemas). Instead of juvenilizing these craps and filling it with terrible CGI, they should have known their audience and make mature movies. But they just don’t have the talent to write such material.
