So it turns out you can "start" the DLC from a previous save or even from the main menu? If this was already known then I've missed it.
Still like the old "Autumn" look of the game better and I'm not so sure it can "be easily fixed by mods" as that dood says.

From both my posted video and the one posted by vurt the DLC is pretty good ane meaty and anyone already playing the game or having already finished the main story won't be disappointed with it.
Thing is, I haven't played the main story yet and after watching Cheeki Breeki's honest review I'm afraid I'm gonna have to wait a bit longer as the update doesn't include any important improvements for A-Life and the spawn/despawn systems for NPCs.

I'm with you on that, I play G.A.M.M.A. with the Autumn version of my favourite grass and trees mods permanently, but I'm afraid it cannot be so easily done with this UE engine for Stalker 2.
i think the autumn look is better too, it looks messy and gritty.
BUT i will say, that the green version does resemble the movie more, but not sure it needs to be like the movie...
On the one hand, I'm itching to finally give the game a try, but on the other the wise and rational shoulder bear keeps reminding me that there is going to be another big expansion down the line alongside multiple miracle patches and fixes to make this sequel more presentable. Also, A-life 2.0 is probably just a psi-illusion at this point.

you can set that up with chatgpt, let it look at any title, give you a notification when its 75% off.
it can tell you if a movie, game or a review or any news related to a game etc is released. Very useful for anything that you think is tiresome to maybe google for every now and then to see if there's something new. must be a dream come true for anyone running a News site, i bet not too many even know its possible to do.
It is! When Stalker 2 launched, I could barely play it at 4k/60 with DLSS Q (Preset K) and FG 2X (not to mention the VRAM leaks) with a RTX 4080 Super, which is slightly better than a 5070 Ti. Now I get an average of 140 FPS outdoors with the RTX 5070 Ti with FG 2x and DLSS P Preset L.
