Haha yeah, just a normal caralho/cazzo Tuesday in our banana republics
I mean, cocaine and underage prostitution have been an integral part of Italy's government for ~20 years (..and they still are, despite the OG being dead)

What why? Why does garmin have steam/xbox like achievements?

Nothing like steam, they simply motivate you to work out hard(er) every month (and compete with your 'friends').

Maybe it's just me random free digital badges wouldn't motive me to do anything more than I was. And sure as hell don't want social media like connections in my GPS/Weather/Workout app.
Dunno feels like a Garmin airplane terminal popping up "Sky High. You earned this badge for flying over 20,000 ft. Other people near you that earned it: (photos of random other people flying)" |
Well yeah this is more of a fun (annoying) badge.
A real workout badge would be me getting 80km cycling workout a few months ago.

Last year I did a 24km walk that started at 12pm and the outcome was a peeling head.
Hopefully it's not that.

Look, I understand. But during the hot months, I sweat so much, practically almost all hats are drenched by the end of a single walk/hike, and that means throwing to the bin, since they don’t take to washing machines or even manual wash. And I hate sunscreen when walking since that thing is so oily, it’s like rubbing butter on myself, and that shit starts dripping into my eyes, making it very hard to see. It also discolors my shirts. The smart thing is to just do the walks at night or early morning, but at that time, the lizard brain “must see the sea nooww hurr durr” won.
I lose 1.5-3 KG of my body weight in sweat after a fast walk during the hot hours. It’s actually insane, and actually a confidence booster after that energy excursion. I get no other joy from exercise, unlike other people who seem to feel orgasms or whatever from gyms. I feel fatigue and pain.

I completely understand as i am the exact same. Always completely drenched in sweat when i take quick walks. Cant say i walk insane 24km, but i do enjoy long walks and hikes. Always same results

1 hour walks for me and I also sweat out a bit (t-shirt gets the worst of it), guess we have better hats/washing machines here since they can be washed at 20C with no shrinking/deforming issues so far
