The heatwave will end on Monday in France and between Tuesday and Thursday in Central Europe.
Some weather models are starting to predict another heatwave forming in mid-July.
But it's subject to high uncertainty at the moment. Let's hope it won't be back with a vengeance.

14 days forececast is still pretty warm. We are not done with MSM reminding us everyday that we are the martyrs of the cardinal sin of consumerism and that we are all gonna die due to climate change.

The heatwave did not, infact, end. Canicule after Canicule here.

I'm seeing some rain in August, that might be simply a copy/paste of last year rainy August.

Yeah professional meteorologists are paid to copy/paste from previous years. Easy job really.

I don't know if you guys noticed but weather forecast has gotten really bad lately, it used to be pretty on point but it might have something to do with this.
| Quote: | Budget cuts: President Donald Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” slashed $200 million from NOAA’s weather forecasting and public alert programs, cut $50 million in grants on studying climate systems, and eliminated $150 million in funding to advance weather observation systems, modeling, assessments, and dissemination of information to the public.

a lot of countries use data that comes from the U.S
I honestly don't trust it anymore and just take it as a guesswork as it's often very wrong. It's good enough for sort of predicting a day or two ahead with a margin of error but the longer the more inaccurate it becomes.

It's true, the American GFS weather model sucks and has been off for quite a while now. Temperatures are usually too high and it has become increasingly inaccurate.
Best to use forecast with the European ICON or ECMWF models nowadays.
