Miss Fergusson has that permanent pensively confused look trying to mask her agitation, when she is not trying to display agitation while being confusingly pensive, that is

What I'm trying to say is her acting range is not that great, the fact that I'm somehow begrudgingly discovering only now. Sad

And in this season her character is fighting her familiar from Mission Impossible not LLM Smile in the settings which remind Fallout TV series more and more with those flashbacks sprinkled over episodes' runtime.

She is a poor actress with zero range.

The whole amnesia thing as also frustrating as hell. Why do we have to retread ground we already covered.

Truth be told - season 1 was really good. Season 2 the writing took a massive dive.

It’s not an amnesia. It’s a big plot device from the book. Looks like they are merging storylines from the book to Silo 18. If my link between plot lines is correct, I suspect it is used to explain a certain quality with Jules and/or Silo 17.

What do you think about the writing quality taking a dip? Do you feel the same?

I'm not sure. I like the series, but now I like the books a lot more. The show's writers are consulting with the book's author, so the changes made are not necessarily bad. And the spirit of the books is really preserved, at least so far. Thinking about the first book, which the first two seasons are based on, it seems to me that they only had material for a season and a half, and had to pad somewhat some stories to be able to end how they ended the second season. Now it remains a mystery how they will tackle the second and third book, and I feel like they are condensing some stories, moving pieces from one storyline to another. The second book is my favorite, and it would be a shame to lose any of it, but I understand why they might not be able to implement it as told in the book. So they'd have to bring parts of the third book, which is years after the second, but can't be for the show.

I know a lot of people didn't like the jumps between the two silos, but that's how it is in the book. I felt the book did it slightly better and Solo was less annoying, but that could be me not liking Steve Zahn Laughing I still think season 2 was good, but like I said, somewhat padded.

If what I suspect will happen in season 3 and 4, a LOT is about to happen. So if you were bored in 2, you might not be with the next two seasons.
