The original DOS DOOM
Doom 1 and Doom 2 enhanced from 2020 (DOS game logic running in Unity engine)
Doom 1 + 2 combined with all the mods (Final Doom, Sigil etc), from 2025 (remastered in KEX engine)
So WTF is this new re-release then?
EDIT: Oh I see the date of video now, it's KEX version from 2025, nothing new.
Regarding crossplay, all owners of either Doom 1 or Doom 2 received (for free) Doom 1/2 enhanced first, and then Doom 1+2 version, on both GOG and Steam. Gamepass is for casual peasants anyway.
The Chain Spear will have unique glory kills, and more importantly, that it will be absolutely required to survive in the endgame content that makes up roughly 40% of this 10-12-hour DLC.
With the release of Patch 4.0, Bethesda and id Software have removed the Denuvo anti-tamper tech from Doom: The Dark Ages. This should be great news for those who have boycotted games that used it. As such, there is no reason to sail on the high seas. You can now finally purchase it.

Surely the majority of people don’t buy it because it saves money or they can’t afford it?
Gamurz always claim they don't buy it because of the D, but the reality is most are too cheap anyway (including me!). I doubt that there is a significant amount of people who boycott buying a game only because of copy protection.

The Eternal DLC was already hard, but this really wastes no time getting back into it. Haven't played the main game since release and I am genuinely struggling regularly.
