Luna Abyss will be landing in 2026!
Luna Abyss is a single player story driven action-adventure with fluid platforming and bullet hell combat.
Follow the journey of Fawkes, a prisoner of Luna caught between a cryptic prophecy and their prison sentence.
I wonder, the demo had a lot of bare ass of androgynous androids. And the main character who is mentioned android had very prepuberty boy voice. Makes you wonder.
Especially that the demo looks a bit different from the screens on Steam.
Overall ok bullet hell corridor shooter.

I just finished this and have to say I rather liked it. It's a nice fps bullet-hell shooter, although the story is quite prominent and there is platforming and movement tech involved.
I only heard about this game because apparently it didn't do really well and the developers were forced to let everyone go within a month.
There are certainly some grading things in this, but it took me less than 6h to finish so I didn't mind. This is at least interesting to play from a gameplay perspective, not like other recent fps.
I don't get the complaint about the auto-aim, it's completely optional but it does make sense to use because the game is as much about movement during combat as for aiming. If you don't want it, simply don't use it.
If you are looking for a new fps to burn through, I would suggest giving it a try. It's on gamepass.

Yep I rolled credits on this one over about 10 hours in two sessions not too long ago.
It won’t win any awards but I enjoyed my time with it.
At first all the greyscale and red colour palette was really unappealing and I figured I’d only play it for an hour but I played it through to the end.
Visually it’s a bit blurry but it’s somewhere between an A and a AA title and probably made by a small team.
I was thinking it’s more like Doom Eternal from Temu which is probably a bit harsh but clearly that was their main inspiration with the first person shooting gameplay.
It seems to borrow from a lot of games including Returnal/Saros with the enemy projectiles.
I also thought that the Bioshock Infinite-style travel system was pretty well done
Agreed, there are quite a few rough edges, the story being mostly some gibberish mess that makes zero sense, the strong graphical asthetics can grind you down, but nothing from that stopped me from enjoying the core gameplay loop and as you mention, it does not overstay its welcome.
