Citizen Vigilante 8/10 - good documentary film. I did feel they tempered some of the events to appease ratings.

Disclosure Day - 8/10

Much better than expected after the reviews/talks/whatevs from latest two weeks, certainly a surprise.

It's not a documentary, its a revenge flick movie slightly inspired by some german event of a girl getting raped my immigrants, as i understand it, it does not end well for the immingrants. Documentary, lulz..

I will give it a watch though, and congratz to Uwe Boll i guess, been a while. Seems like a super success for him on the streaming services since germany banned the movie. Super low budget too so he's getting his money back thousands of times, that will certainly piss off some people Smile

No idea how anyone would give this film a 8/10
It was really hard to get through it, not because of the "message", not because of the "story" just because of how shitty it was made. Low budget can be good, but this is just a bad and cheap movie in every way.

And also i don't like it when movies shove agendas into my ass, no matter if its lefties or right wing propaganda. But this is just on top on the already bad movie.

I would give it a 2/10 because at least it was only like 80 minutes so at least i didn't had to watch 2 hours of this.

Citizen Vigilante ?/10 for low budget good quality footage colors n acting. shame the blood was shitty cgi and the cops were retarded ... stand in front of metal pillbox with two machine guns pointed at em LOOOL

But what message is it sending. It felt scarily satisfying but super worrysome... people are on verge of actually doing this shit... conflicted if this movie has the right to be made. someone will be inspired by it to go out and butcher potentially innocents... cause lets face it ... impulsive people dont have dexters research capabilities ...

mikey ... documentary lol ... get a grip Laughing

anyone else getting bombarded on social media about this movie and then the young washington movie ?? felt like i was getting brainwashed with clips

Uwe Boll movies are often a bit psychopathic. That's exactly what I like about him Laughing
Too bad he lacks the directorial and writing talent and the budget often sucks. Haven't watched Vigilante yet but I'm sure it will have very satisfying moments between the pointless and cheaply made padding scenes.

If you want to watch better made movies by a similarly psychopathic director I recommend Brawl on Cell Block 99 and Dragged Across Concrete by S. Craig Zahler.

Can't decide if you're saying that you think uwe's movie will be his best or if those two are bad. Better not be the latter Mad

No, the Zahler movies are great. He only made 3 movies so far, there is also Bone Tomahawk which is my least favorite but its still a good movie.

Uwe Boll is a hack, the only serviceable movies he made are the first Rampage, Assault on Wall Street and maybe Postal. I watched Vigilante as well now and will grace it with a 5/10.

Basically all Boll wanted with it is to do this last scene where he executes the muslim family and then impart the message at the end. That is all the controversy. Since he couldn't do a 20 minute movie he had to pad out the remaining 70 minutes with filler. The only other scene worth mentioning with the cop massacre could have been good in theory but in practice was really badly done. The rest of the movie was mostly pointless and not violent enough.

Agreed, Zahler's movies are technically competent (for the most part) and pretty unique in their balancing of drama and raw violence with awkwardly comedic moments. Boll on the other hand is a talentless edgelord as subtle as a Tiger I driving through a glass factory.
