Yeah, saw this vid. Here's hope Donut Lab found an effective way of stacking up really thin capacitors by printing them and somehow turning them into a fully fledged battery.

Not that I know battery tech myself but any leap in any technology that big, from nothing to better/equal alternative; without incremental improvements from various separate developers that leap frog each other slowly: from near useless concept, to barely viable in hyper specific use cases, to competing tech. And all that usually over multiple years in easy to see marginal improvements.

I call bullshit. As no ones even made one publicly that uses say, 50 gallons to go 1/2 km yet. No way you just leaped right to uses water AND 3x as good as fuel.
This battery jumped ahead waaaay too many steps ahead from its origin of other lab proof of concept solid state battery tech, to pass the smell test. Hell current ones only work small scale in lab demos.
