I grew up spending 1/4 of my part-time McDonalds paycheck in the early 90's on Street Fighter and MK in the arcade.
And all the movies was campy, overly cheesy overly theatrical trash. If it wasnt for the simplistic draw of seeing character from a game you like, they are all nearly unwatchable.
I mean if it was the same exact movie, but not based on a game people knew and just generic setting no one would watch them
