company just payed 45 euros a piece for a few fancy garage door remotes ... a plastic tube with a tiny battery a chip and 2 programmable buttons .... no lights no screen no sound NADA

u could buy a whole new phone with 6 inch screen for 50 euros not so long ago that could play cod mobile....

i wanted to show the person who bought it the remote in my one hand and a phone in my other hand and look into his soul and SMAK HIMMMM

Who needs lights, sound and a screen on a two button remote? Razz

And is it built like a tank? Some industrial applications you pay FOR the lack of bells and whistles, and more for the reliability and durability of the object being used for years.

Or could be a ebay/alibaba ripoff, haven't seen them.

im using my acer smarthphone lquid android 4,20 with ORIGINAL battery now 13 years already u uninformed giant corporation boobfed everything will break after 3 years consumer Razz

its fancy plastic with some metal hardening but will break for sure if i step on it or drop it from my height due to its own weight ....

i think im down to my last 30 percent capacity or something but damn im impressed by this 100 eur phone. they dont make em like this anymore

reminds me of when i showed our old accountant the HP inkt cartridge that has like 5 mililiter of black ink in it in cheap plastic container and showed her my phone and said... same price... bitch pulled out her apple phone and loudly proudly proclaimed hers was a 1000 .... dumb cunt . she broke and gone now roflol

Depends on the setting.
You are the only use case for your phone.
In some settings 30 different "200 pound gorilla" (its a trade euphemism of how they tend to break stuff using it) workers in a warehouse or industrial setting will be using the remote over years.

Why you don't see ryobi drills on a jobsite. Not that they can't drill just as good holes. Its they will be broke in a week dropped off ladders, tossed in toolboxes or in the bed of trucks, used as a rubber mallet in a pinch when you can't reach one..etc.

Your setting might not be that. Then they did overbuy.
