Saw it in the Steam discovery queue few days ago. Looked cool and all but then saw the price and thought it's some 2 hours cheap demo that has barely anything in common with the videos and pictures.
Now there's a lot of reviews for only 1 day and has Overwhelmingly Positive score. Surprised

Its quite impossible to play solo imo. But its damn fun if you are 3-4 players. Really awsome alien feeling. And its random what kind of alien you meet

How about just 2 players?

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

It works, but its really hard. We started with just 2 players (me and my gf) but i honestly think that 3 is a minimum. It probably depends on what alien you encounter.

edit:
BUT there is tactics to all aliens. There is a terminal you can read about them and how to handle them. So its alot about knowing your enemy.

Ok, thank for your assessemenrt. I usually only play Coop in 2 player. But the game is cheap, we might give it a go. edit: There is even a demo.

Try it! And remember, if possible - use the ingame proximity chat and radio. Thats something ive starting to love with games like this! (Also, nuclear nightmare, R.e.p.o, Devour, Content Warning, Phasmophobia, Lethal Company, The Headliners...all of these have it and it makes the games awsome as hell!)
