I can summarize this entire season and its ending with this sound effect
They had an ENTIRE SEASON to set things up and develop arcs and what do they choose to do? Fill it with random unrelated filler. Then the ending just BWOMPS to rush slop out of the writers' asses to wrap things up and move on. Total waste.
Underwhelming, but safe and predictable without unnecessary subversion of expectations like in GoT.
The fight in the White House and Oval office in particular could have been done better and could have claimed more casualties from both the Boys side and Homelander posses.
wasnt all bad, was just fine at best but overall very disappointing at wat could have been, homelander was the best thing about this show and they wasted him
Wasn't the worst finale and I like that they kept certain character's decisions and fate true to the comics, but yeah it could've been much better and the lack of budget for this final season was obvious again while watching this finale.
I liked the world destruction in Invincible, when Omni-Man gets loose. Now that was brutal.

Guess everything has been said already. Calling the finale underwhelming is an understatement. The only positive is that most character arcs were properly concluded.
The lack of budget was palpable, 90% of this season were close-up shots of characters in dark rooms.
It also didn't help that the show became an unsubtle parody of MAGA through and through. Some of the satire was pretty fun and on point but it was just too much.
What should have been some fun jabs in the background turned into the core identity of the entire series.

I can hardly remember a single american entertainment product in the last ten years that didn't just focus on its world and characters and built on and around them without twitter sewage speak flooding it to a horrible stink.
Anthony starr being a non gringo was probably why he could see how retarded this is gettting. Ruining original character draw and depth for some silly twitter argument at the expense of quality.
