Hey guys, here's my in-depth review (9.0/10) with lots of 4K screenshots: https://www.pcmrace.com/2026/05/18/lego-batman-legacy-dark-knight-review/

Some pics below (35 total in the review) — I didn’t use spoiler tags for them because some people might miss them, and they look amazing. It’s incredibly well optimized, even on low-end PCs, despite the ridiculous specs chart.

And that's what sucks about it all. The best Batman game in ages (or ever), and it's a fucking lego game. Same with their ultimate Star Wars one. Sure, I enjoyed it for a while and it deserved all the praise it got, but in the end I'd still prefer a more serious tone.

The numbers don't decide, the system is a lie. The river running dry, the wings of butterflies.
And you may pour us away like soup. Like we're pretty broken flowers.
We'll take back what is ours. One day at a time.

It's more Arkham than Lego. It's a pretty solid game overall.

It's really not. It has LEGO graphics, it has the typical lighthearted LEGO humor more than any kind of serious tone.

The whole theme of the game is still a LEGO Batman setting. But yes, it does streamline / mimic the mechanics of Arkham, that absolutely does not make it "more Arkham than LEGO".

Been thinking of getting it for 2 player though.

yeah, i think this one got a little too overhyped. if it had at least a bit of more serious tone i can get past the lego style graphics

A Cheesy tone could still work, i love that in games like Freedom Force. But this isn't cheesy, this is more modern, Disney-like, not 50-60's cheesy superheroes tone.

@StEFaN7 It's hyped because it does a lot of fan service and LEGO is always working, this was never going to be a slot in title for people that prefer Arkham games and it's very obvious. If you thought anything else that's entirely on you.

How many polygons are in a lego character and environment? Laughing it's mostly blocks and straight lines.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was a damn good game.

But it had terrible FOV and ABYSMAL PC mouse and kb controls.

This game might be the same...

I realy don't know why people bother with specs.

All games are console ports so there perfomance/requirements are in the same range.

What the specs don't tell you if the game is well optimised, they only state what the devs were aiming for.

Btw a 4070 for 4k with DLSS seems fine imho, but it's perhaps not what people expect from a lego game.

i wasnt expecting a new arkham game, was saying that this game got more media cover than ur usual lego game and they keep praising the arkham part and everyone seems to focus on that but they forget its still a lego game and probably many will be disappointed
