Here if anyone want the complete unabridged compendend of dumb shit americans say:

https://truthsocial.com/
and
https://bsky.app/

Just go on american centric social media and browse. You don't need to wander in a specific part of it, just scroll the default feed.

Also since I never search or goto either, I just now noticed if you google Truth Social, the First 'front page' link is right to Trump's profile. Bro be so THIRSTY for attention he made the SEO team put his profile over the main website in search optimization:

Most any (but not all) syndicated US media is like that. Doesn't matter which side, or if it even has a side. They are all eyeball seeking grifters. Saying whatever dumb shit, that makes the dumb shits that watch them nod and go "YEA! I agree!"

If at ANY point, you find yourself going "I agree with what they are saying" You are not watching/reading news. You are watching people making money off you by stating canned opinions that make you feel validated in your opinions about something in the news.
That exists on every side. Attention economy + validation loop is a money maker.

Much of what people watch isn't actual news, it's entertainment-driven commentary about news. For all sides and ideologies.
American Media's slogan for 90% of them out there: Is what we say right? Who cares?! Does what we say make the viewer feel they are right? That's gold right there.

Why my sources keep getting less and less Sad They are all slowly turning into: What do you want to hear about the news? We only say enough about whats going on, to them pivot to talking about how we/you feel about it.

Much like the shit Frant posted. It seems in the last 10+ years, media is not forming peoples opinions on stuff, its people opinions on stuff forming the media take on it.
And it's a vicious cycle of self reinforcement that it makes opinions more extreme, which makes 'news' more extreme.

I still always point out how C-SPAN is the most "We just point a camera at what's going on, no opinion and minimum overtalk from journalist" and is consistently the lowest viewer watched news outlet.
Why simply learn what going on, when you get on twitter/sky/truth and argue about how you feel about what's going on? And find your chamber that echoes the best to your ears to fight with you anytime some 'THEM' replies to you.

Granted we totally do that here (argue opinions), but different to me. This is like a small group of people privately debating. Social Media is "Let's do this middle of the road at noon. I want the world to see me pwn people"

Many Americans tend to have a strong tendency to answer questions they don't know the answer to with the first thought that enters their minds with complete certainty which only makes them come off as incredibly stupid.

I find it shocking that people have computers, laptops, phones, etc. Yet cannot be arsed to google the most basic shit before committing to a strong stance on what they call a fact.

Strong opinions on a fact, I get. But just outright wrong stuff, they are willing to die on hills is correct. When 15 seconds on your phone could tell you if it's real, or right.

I've been wondering that since the dawn of the internet Laughing

The numbers don't decide, the system is a lie. The river running dry, the wings of butterflies.
And you may pour us away like soup. Like we're pretty broken flowers.
We'll take back what is ours. One day at a time.

Right?!

It blows my mind you have all the collective knowledge of mankind in your pocket and you hear shit like:
- I dunno I think the moon landing was fake.
- You seen where they are going to make gas cars illegal in a month?!
- I don't know anything about [X], but I don't trust it.
- You see that guy killed for making a car that ran on water for 5 billion miles a gallon?!

Some of those are exaggerations of course. But along those lines.
And I suppose some of it is from shit they find on the internet. But sometimes I feel like I'm the only one going "I just saw a thing online, and it seems sus. I'm sure I should look at at LEAST 1 other source outside the bubble where this came"

Nope, people can vomit out a video, or article. People read it first time exposed to that at all and go "Thats enough info for me, one person"

That's true, but I would argue we are the most arrogantly ignorant. Arrogant about a topic we don't know, and then when we realize we are during a discussion, arrogant about not caring to take time to learn about whatever thing they are asking us to learn about, nah man..that's nerd shit right there. Learning and shit.

Not that other places don't totally have those types [ We have a Storm brewing here on the form that resembles that remark Smile ] But `Mericas are the clear winner on pure unadulterated conviction to loudly and proudly standing by being like that. We will have some brag about "not knowin' that nerd shit. But I do know how I feel about what I don't really know. And that's what matters!"

Their battle cry to libs: Facts don't care about your feelings. Which is good in way...at least its consistent with their counter stance: They are all about their feelings not caring about facts.

I still find it funny that only American internal politics is amplified all over the world. Like the ICE killings or some cop killings before, getting worldwide attention, condemnation and other shit.

Yet when you open proper sites, see how Brazilian "off duty" cops execute people randomly - nobody talks about it Laughing Or if similar situation happens in some European state, you won't read it in worldwide news.

AMERICA is teh bad guy in everything (according to eurosocialists)
