Looking around, falling down the rabbit hole of LatencyMon and with that wdf01000.sys and nvlddmkm. Non of t hat helped.
No, setting my pre-built pc to High Performance was the solution. That was not available to me, so even if i did set my cpu to 100% all time on balanced, it did not solve the issue.
I can now have my audio setting set to any bit-rate i want.
I think the answer to way its only usb audio lagging behind is the driver, as i have no issue with built-in audio.
The driver selected by windows 11 (for my jcally jm6) is just a plain "Usb audio 2.0" driver, no high-res audio driver.
