Ready or Not 2 - 5/10
I actually found it forced - the whole sister dynamic was cringe IMO. Same premise but more convoluted rules Spoiler: | Why the wife of one of the Pakis (i presume) was allowed to escape while it suppose to wipe out whole dynasty? | . The ending was wtf and why was it allowed.
The violence was ok, a bit over realistic in last act but I understand why they did it this way.
The first one was sleek, this felt a little like cash grab from the studio.
My wife liked it tho.
Cold Storage - 5.5/10
It was ok but I didn't like the characters.
Crime 101 - Fall asleep/10
Fall asleep at the beginning, woke up at the end. My wife said it was stupid.
Heel / The Good Boy - 7/10
Good acting but a bit of wtf was the point of the story, characters. The trailer made it seem like a thriller horror when it's more of psychological drama.

I had to look it up on IMDB, and i had rated it 9/10. Can't say i recall anything, but likely i saw it just at release, so then its just a blur to me lol. I need to see it again.
We watched The Ugly Stepsister (2025). I was hoping for some swedish/norwegian body horror, and while it does have some body horror this is mostly a drama and like a commentary against the beauty industry. It's well made but nah, none of us really had a good time with this. 6/10

I Swear
Not flawless, but really good uplifting, emotional, funny film based on the real life story of someone with Tourettes
8/10

Weapons (2025): 7/10
It was okay; well shot, good actors (well, at least Wong and Brolin) and some effective but also cheap jump scares. It took too long to get to the main story though; it dragged on by showing the same period of time through multiple characters eyes.
I don't regret watching it.

Ready or Not 2: 7.5/10
It's a fun romp following the previous entry. It doesn't quite reach the same level as the first one. The whole sibling relationship thing was annoying as hell and dragged it down quite a bit for me; without it I'd have given it an 8.5.
28 Years Later: !!?/10
What in the psilocybin happened with this movie? Did they stop filming it halfway and had to fill it with some random psychedelic shit? Without that crap the movie would've been pretty damn good but what the hell. And the Swedish soldier character? He was an unnecessarily annoying prick from start to end even though they tried to give him a sort of mini-redemption arc. Apparently some critics gave the whole psychedelic bullshit as a reason to give the movie 5/5 even after basically stating that they defended that crap with "how brave it was for the director to take such a risk".
