I saw that, that project was crazy to start with. I feel it had a slim change of a hope to start with when I heard of it.
BTW, Simon is awesome. I usually fall asleep listening to one of his channels: brain blaze, megaprojects, biographics, geographics, decoding the unknown, or highlight history (And a few others cant remember the name of).
God know when this man sleeps, he does like 20 channels and podcasts.
Just like Neom it most probably will never see the light of day, but it's a nice vid describing technical solutions and difficulties to overcome when erecting this proposed 2.0 Km high structure.

At least the 4k one looks somewhat believable, until you put it to scale of course. The base is wide enough to cover an entire city
