better to just play the older games, they even have a big sale now, bf 4, 1, 5, 2042 are like 2-3e, looking at peak players now by the end of the year bf 6 will join them
tried the trial for a bit but still meh, still feels small scale, graphics are not bad but some animations especially the destruction look bad, idk how after so many games it looks worse
breakthrough casual has bots in it and feels so stupid as already its not a sweaty game, to make it worse they are dumb as fuck. the other mode thats conquest feels like metro on every map
no wonder the player base dropped so badly, has none of the feel of the older games and feels like an upgraded 2042

I don't know man... I had more fun in 2042 when they have dropped BR crap and made normal classes. BF6 is way less smooth for me than 2042. Not to mention BF3 or 4.

Hey dont be so hard the little console eunuchs, they need time to aim their lil vibratin thumbstick.
*tinfoil hat on* they are trying to kill the game so they could sell people a new BF game in 2027. They'll say they learned from their mistakes and they promise to do better and this one will totally address all of the issues people had with BF6.
And people like to reward companies for shitty behavior so it'll sell a lot and nothing will ever change.
Alright my head is starting to sweat *takes tinfoil hat off*
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Doesn't even have to be tinfoil hat, they literally did that with EAFC 26, 'we never listened to the community this much' and delivered the same ass game as 25
live service model dosent work for every game, ur supposed to have new modes constant but people only want big maps and they only play conquest or rush

just like how bf3 was the base for 4, 1 for 5, so is 2042 for 6, so it dosent have that bf 3/4 feel, only looks like them but plays like 2042, from the dumb ui to map design, weapon feel etc.
i did played some 2042 after the fixes and was indeed better but too little too late. and wat did they do for 6? after they fixed some controversial changes in 2042 they rolled it back for 6, they just dont care
Yeah, how dare EA try to make a buck Jeez, the entitlement of whiny white men gamers! Y'all's should be grapefuit they are still supporting this game with fine content!
- Golmud Railway (4 x the current largest map)
- Cairo (Grand) Bazaar
- New sea warfare map even bigger than new Golmud Railway
- Wake Island
- (Traditional?) Server Browser
- Platoons
- Proximity Chat
Notably for me, this bit sounds like the game is finally going in the right direction:
Quote:
Damage Multipliers
To better reward skill and mastery, average Time to Kill (TTK) has been slowed down without affecting the best possible TTK. Damage to limbs and lower torso has been reduced for all weapon classes except shotguns and sidearms.
This change generally increases the amount of shots to kill by one when hitting these areas multiple times but landing headshots will compensate for the lower damage dealt to limbs and lower torso.
In most engagements, this means that players that are more intentional about keeping their aim at the chest or at the head of their target will be more likely to win a gunfight.
This should have been in the game on day 1 (just like the upcoming server browser), but I guess better late than never.
DICE always does this shit. It's like, between releases, they forget ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING they fucked up and then subsequently took years to fix from the last game - and do it all over again. Then they want pats on the back for improving something that was already fixed before.
Add to this their fucked up way of balancing - instead of doing it in small increments until they get it where they want, they massively overpower and then massively nerf various elements - see-sawing between ridiculously overpowered and completely useless - it gets tiring knowing that every time you boot up the game after not having played for a little while everything will feel completely different.
You hit the nail on the head.
Bungie used to do this with Destiny as well, it was their way to make people come back, because unlike you, alot of people like things to change.
Many studios do this with their live services, putting a carrot on a stick.
