I get it, but at the same time i don't. Not that i'm a watcher, but when i do watch what they say i expect to get the truth or the channel is as good as dead in my eyes. They live and breathe by their credibility and insight, if the perception becomes they say what the ones with the money tell them to say, it might become problematic down the line. Same as regular journalists. |
I mean, just watch the shill video, then this. Both Wicawd and Owiver (the fat one) say completely different things than what they shilled in that video. If their shill video was true excitement, their views wouldn't have changed so much. Or, they were really excited, but the backlash made them lie in this video to appease those people. Neither is a good look. |

I'll say it again: DLSS is supposed to be upscaler technology with antialiasing. What the fart does floppy-ai-sloppy-filter have to do with that? That's like Samsung selling a foot-bath thingy and calling it "Samsung Odyssey OLED G81SF S27FG810S".

As far as i see it, given that it ran on 2 5090's. One does the normal gpu tasks, the other runs a massive AI checkpoint model with likely a shitton of images and whatever that they've trained on. It's just ai slop. They will shrink this model for commercial use and it will look a lot worse because these things use a lot of vram. Forget it unless you have 20-30+ gb vram. Upper levels is emulator games with texture packs etc obviously, but we'll see if that's supported.

How worser can it look? It is already so bad.  Everyone complained about the make up on the RE chick, but environments looked terrible. Made everything shiny, contrasty and same looking.
And of course, Todd Howtard is all over this shit, since they can't make one good looking game anymore.

Honestly, Starfield faces were good, but that is only because the default is so shit. Rest is just crap. And i agree, the lightning is a big offender. Just disgustingly ugly when you look at those overly bright and washed out forest looks, or city.
