ASADENA, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- Fox's veteran comedy "Malcolm in the Middle" will end its seven-season run May 14, while "That '70s Show," now in its eighth season, will bow out four days later, the network said Tuesday.
both are quite funny shows, but all things come to an end.

While the end for "Malcolm" and "That '70s Show" comes after long, successful runs, the untimely exit of the network's Emmy-winning but low-rated comedy "Arrested Development" after three seasons -- two of them abbreviated -- brought up a lot of questions.
Although the network touts airing the two-hour block of the final four episodes of "Arrested's" current order on February 10 as "season finale," Liguori stressed that a future return of the show to Fox is "highly unlikely."
never saw it, so i dont care about this haha.

Fox also is taking another look at two comedies that have been off the schedule for a while.
"King of the Hill," which is not in production but has never been officially canceled, might come back as early as January 2007 if discussions with the series' producers are successful, Liguori said.
Meanwhile, there haven't been any active negotiations to revive "Futurama," which, much like "Family Guy" before it, is enjoying a second life on Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim" late-night block. But Fox executives are keeping a close eye on the series' newfound success.
Now this is intressting.
King of the hill is an awsome cartoon. I dont mind if they make new episodes.
They keep a close eye on futurama, so maybe they are bringing that back 2
A shame about that. Arrested Development is (was) one of the most intelligent and funny shows on TV. Which, of course, is why it had to die like so many other quality shows that FOX canned prematurely to be replaced by Celebrity Iceskating and other awesome shows in the same genre.
So true, shame that they cancelled Reunion as well, i really liked that show, finally a new concept for a show, but FOX screwed up with their great schedule, i mean showing 2 eps in a row and then 8 weeks nothing :/ Ratings proved how well that schedule worked.
MITM is still a funny show, they should keep that as well, but i'm sure they'll come up with some reality crap instead.
bad news about malcolm but good news about king of the hill and futurama. bender=one the best characters in any show ever. i think it was ahead of its time but now might be a good time for a comeback just like family guy.
Yes VERY bad news about malc since ive got into collecting them now They've toned it down a lot now, in the first few eps lois had her tits out and stuff but its still funny but not as crude which i miss

I dunno....I think That 70's Show started sucking after the 4th year, never liked Malcom in The Middle (I cant stand that fuckin malcom kid, freddie something) and Arrested Development is...kinda funny, but meh, no big loss.
As for King of The Hill, I WANT NEW EPISODES!!! KoTH is awesome, one of my favourite cartoons...nothing can top Bugs Bunny
well i think it's time to shut down that 70s show. the current season isn't funny at all, the last decent episode i saw was the last one with kelso but that was just because bruce willis was so awesome in the role they gave him it's just not the same anymore without kelso and foreman.
never liked king of the hill, saw a couple of episode a few years back and i just couldn't stand it.
futurama was idd great, would be nice to see that
