will they ever add an adventure mode? i cant stand this campaign shit over n over yuk!!!
In past interviews they clearly said no to it, however the same was said about the Async Trade so who knows. Wouldnt hold my breath waiting for it though.
There's so much new shit in the game now that even if I were to bother, I still couldn't bring myself to play it again. The info in the videos above is simply overwhelming.
That, plus I would get bored out of my mind again way before I get to the endgame systems, anyway.
Sounds like you are more over the game itself, than any patch could help.
Because it could also be said:
There's so little new shit in the game now that even if I were to bother, I still couldn't bring myself to play it again.
So a patch with lots of stuff isn't worth it, and one that could have little changes wouldn't either. So no amount of patch notes could make you reenter the game.
Not ragging on you, more sounds like being done with the game regardless, and less waiting on new content to give it another try?

I was waiting for the Templar class to be added because it sounded like a fun class. But, I do not have the time or the patience to screw around with so many endgame systems, especially because I know I will be bored by the time I get there; the campaign is just needlessly long, and way too drawn out for my taste. Unless it becomes possible to skip the "story", I do not see myself returning to this game.

True, I miss the mines, or whatever they was in PoE1. Where you went down levels, had to follow the light or get hurt, whatever that area was.
While it did take a bit to get there, I didn't do story after it. I just power leveled in them WAY over the next areas I should be in, and went back to speedrun the rest of the story areas.
Could level so fast in there, no reason not to, if you was on your 3-4th character and tired of the story.
For me it's like any other game. Most all games I cannot do as solo SP. Its friends and the fun of being on discord and playing with them that makes the game. Not the game itself so much. So While I dont play it or PoE1 now. If someone goes back, I will join them.
Only games I play SP is the ones I have to that are either my 'style' enough to put up with it (Planet Coaster, Cities Skylines, etc), and I cannot find a MP mod for it. So deal with it being SP.

The update is great. Diablo 4 reshuffled the endgame content. PoE2 updated everything, remade a bunch of it and made the onboarding seamless by integrating it with the story.
i really dont know how u guys keep playing the same campaign n bosses.... i reaaaaly dont ... d2 has an excuse as old game ... but this game ... they have all the technology to just make a random endless dungeon to keep going deeper n deeper. fine recycle some bosses or quests ... but this ... nooo thanks
moar gear = Big number go bigger = feel goods.
I really don't even pay attention to if its the same boss, the same map, the same enemies. Its purely '100 of things go splat quickly. NOW I make 200 things go splat quickly-er! Monkey brain happy. Try to make 250 at once! 250!"
Me and friends team up, and run around endgame maps with: "Gem powers go BRRRRRRR" and thats it.
Like I could say the same for counter-strike or overwatch: same maps, same missions, same bomb/flags/objectives. But people that like that rush, like it. Same for us here in this genre.
