So... Just watched it, and it nice and puurty an' all. But how in the name of Zeus' butthole it gets 8.7 on imdb is beyond me. Guess you have to be a fan, to see it as more than mildly entertaining popcorn flick
Maybe cause its the culmination of 10 years and 20+ movies, and they somehow managed to not mess that up. Even if you don't like these kinds of movies you have to acknowledge that its quite the accomplishment.
But I'm pretty sure its going to go downhill from now on for the MCU, the only upcoming movie I'm looking forward to is Guardians 3.
I didn't understand how they say that Back to the Future timetravel is bullshit in the beginning (you can't change the future, or something?), but Tilda Swinton later uses the same reasoning why she wouldn't give the stone to Hulk.
She even draws the timeline just like Doc did in BttF 2, with the line splitting when something is changed
Also the reasoning Hawkeye gave for why Black Widow can't be revived: "The guy said so! You wanna go and ask him!?" Lazy writing 101
Still enjoyed it, but those moments did stood out for its derpness.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.
I finally realized where they used the ass double for Brie Larson
It's in the start of Endgame, when she stands with the other Avengers. Her ass is suddenly perky, after an entire movie where it was not. And mysteriously her face is never showing in the wider shots.
Oh I just invented time travel, let's use that to fix this absolute fucked up situation they wrote us into...
was a big slap into the face.
It's such an easy and overused cliché option. And it never makes sense, at all.
Yeah, always feels like a cheap and easy way out.
Exactly. It's just bad writing, it's filled with all the clichés, and yet everyone goes apeshit over it, because it's got a couple dozen A-listers attached and a huge budget. I mean I don't give two shits about IMDb rating, since every dumbass and their grandmother has a vote, and we all know how that usually goes. But even the RT and Meta averages are through the roof, and I simply don't understand why. I guess pro reviewers can get star struck too.
And I'm not hating on superhero movies. Guardians of The Galaxy, Deadpool and Logan were great fucking movies.
