Luckily I play on ps5 atm as i just had knee surgery and cant walk up the stairs to my pc gaming rig No cheaters on console no?
Worse there's cronus zen and strikepacks, devices they plug their controllers into that removes recoil and boosts auto aim also an AI aim assist called the Titan (at least they use it in Apex Legends, CoD, etc)
Yup, cheaters are everywhere and in everything, no way to get around that these days.
Read somewhere that next Tuesday there is possibly Toxic Swamp map condition. Hope new maps are coming, it is still a very fun game. Also excisting maps can be made bigger I think. A lot of the maps at the edges isnt used.
Watch his videos alot of the time, hilarious when he kills someone and they go Hey peanut, are you the real peanut (they usually start screaming their heads off haha)
Even funnier is when Peanut get killed and he begs for his life

"Both Arc Raiders and The Finals have been under extensive, coordinated DDoS attacks," one of Embark's community managers, Ossen, says in a post on the official Discord. "The strike team has been working hard on mitigations and solutions to fix the problem, and we are making good progress. But at this point in time, the attacks are still ongoing.
Embark Studios CEO Patrick Söderlund says the success of Arc Raiders has given the team “stability [and] long-term security” as it continues to support its new extraction shooter through 2026.
Embark is bringing back the Cold Snap map condition as part of the regular rotation of map conditions players can experience starting tomorrow, February 10, 2026.
The studio will kick off a new, PvE-focused event called Shared Watch tomorrow, February 10, that'll run until February 24, 2026.
More information about the event is set to arrive in tomorrow's patch notes, but the basics of it are that players will progress through the event's rewards by earning Merits, which will unlock items, Raider tokens, and a new baseball-themed Slugger cosmetic set.
Ok so it doesn’t appear to be a separate mode as I thought it was.
Looks like they’re maybe trying to discourage PvP by giving merits for killing ARC and assisting others with killing ARC.
He's right though. If you play it like a PvE game, you'll definitely have a PvE experience for the most part. You can literally toggle your lobbies from PvE to PvP within 5 games depending on how you play. It actually does work from my own personal anecdotal experience.
And if that's not good enough for you then there's plenty of PvE games out there for you to play instead. Maybe this game isn't for you if you never want to be shot at.
I dunno about this friendly lobbies thing.
I was playing the game with my brother earlier and we’re not the type to attack others and prefer to initiate an interaction with ‘don’t shoot’ to imply we are not hostile.
I noticed that keys for locked doors have gotten harder to find in the last couple of months since launch but we managed to get a key for the communications tower on the Blue Gate found in a random drawer on another map.
We got ambushed by two enemy players whilst looting the locked room but they shot first so we retaliated in defence.
There was an exchange of bullets and grenades until they stopped attacking us but decided to camp outside the room waiting to us to leave.
Whilst I was trying to craft some smoke grenades to make an escape, my brother unloaded a barrage of gunfire from his torrente which downed both raiders.
We had no intention of killing anyone but more often than not PvP doesn’t seem to be avoidable :/
In games were some guys says "Don't shoot !" and you just get neck shooted by them the very next time you turn around, isn't PvE either.
These interaction are the main reason I don't play PvP games anymore.
I would try the game in Coop anytime though.
