Articles are claiming the game releases in a matter of days but there’s several weeks until January 26th. Due to a lack of any new information, there’s rumour the game is delayed or cancelled.

the gameplay looks good but aesthetics look meh...if the game plays better than it looks then wasnt a good ideea to show it 2 months in advanced but at least its free
This whole Titanfall and apex legends ex dev shit is irrelevant. Hundreds of people worked at that studio during that time, and who knows what these morons did. Not to mention, that even devs that did something good in the past, don't guarantee a good new project.
Nothing in the gameplay trailer looked "good". It looked generic as shit, nothing new or amazing. The animations looks kind of floaty at moments and the aesthetic is uninspired at best.
Fairly sure Concord's gameplay was also kind of just average and it was everything else that tanked it. This is an oversaturated and highly competitive genre. Not to mention that the initial announcement did them no favors.
It's likely going to have more players than Concord if it is f2p, but that won't make it much less of a failure honestly, unless it is somehow going to hold on to a large audience long term. So I do think Concord 2 is appropriate since they likely put a few hundred million in to this game and it won't even make a third of that back in my opinion.

Most people have a negative reaction towards it, with you being in the minority, so I don't get where the confidence of "it's not concord 2" is coming from. This game looks like a failure before launch. Unless it's the new fucking coming of Jesus and word of mouth is incredible post-launch, it is pretty much guaranteed to be a failure. So Concord 2 is a very appropriate name.
What they made before is pretty much irrelevant, and the fact they need to push the "We made Titanfall and Apex message" pretty much shows me how much confidence they had in their game to begin with. Nothing I see says Titanfall to me, at least nothing that actually made me like Titanfall. As for Apex.. don't care. Didn't play it, never will play it.
And by the way, even Titanfall 2, which was a very good game, was a big flop, so take from that what you will.
I'm sure people will try it since it is free. But nothing in it tells me this will succeed in any way. There's better looking and more established alternatives and so, unless this is going to be incredible, why would people stick around and pay for shit, after trying it for free?
It looks very, very poor. Looks like AI generated woke slop. All the characters, all the lines, the graphics. These all are so bad, I have a hard time even noticing the gameplay.
"OG devs from back days" means jack shit, I've interviewed OG Assassins creed/Battlefield people from Ubisoft/EA that turned out to be placing rocks for 20 years in all the maps, that was their sole purpose. As time passes they all make themselves look so damn important in their resumes, but like with any breakout screenwriter director coming off a successful project, its the new project that they lead is the one that needs to be judged.
It is always the team chemistry effort and chemistry can never be recreated anew, you can only hope to sustain momentum before it all falls apart and you have to rebuild. The games you love may very well be they way they are because some minor QA Tester was persistent that there was "not enough lore" or "something didn't "feel" good" to them.
Job of a lead is to sow chaos so that the stew keeps mixing, if a lead follows the confluence guiderails (which this project looks 100% like) all you get is a souless kronengberg of a swat of good ideas that looked good at inception, but don't fit the market at release.
The only way this works now if you take over the internet with 100's of millions in budget to make the game inescapable from every corner of the media for at least a month. Apex did that at launch, thats why it carved a niche from fortnite. Since they chose the traditional AAA way of revealing their shit at TGA, they probably going to market it the same way they learned a decade ago. You'll get a few trailers, you'll get a discord quest to watch that trailer, you'll get some dumb shit like an ad on Las Vegas sphere to pamper their vanity.
But it all means nothing because they choose to reveal how out of touch they are with all they had to say in that trailer.
i think they just want to replicate the launch of apex but had to put a trailer out because they are not respawn and need a little boost
this also seem fairly low budged compared to concord and dont think they need a big playerbase to succeed, also f2p, concord had all the red flags from the first reveal.
this looks more like something an apex/titanfall player would play, fast movement fps arena type. titanfall also had small numbers but very loyal playerbase
