Watching it again, but this time the widescreen BR's (some 1080p x265 rips) and it's even better in HD Me Gusta


Guess I'll go get the X-files BR 1080p rips after this... weell, at least up until season 5 or 6 Laughing

some day i might even watch season 2. i heard it doesnt flow directly on from season 1 so kinda went 'meh, flag it' at the time..

They are after a new target, but the old targets from season 1, are still there.
So there is some kind of continuity.

All kidding aside, it would be reductive to even call it a show. The Wire is something else, it offers the most complete range of emotions and characters of any other production, it touches all sorts of corners of modern society, it's a documentary on mankind. You don't simply watch The Wire for easy entertainment, you experience and live The Wire.

For me it's easily the apex of television (intended as a medium), staying on top like a̶ ̶g̶o̶d Omar. Do watch it guys, personal tastes may greatly differ of course, someone can find it a bit of a slog or not too enjoyable, but one thing is for sure: there's a 98.4% chance that whoever watches the five seasons and doesn't feel any attachment to it afterwards is actually an android in disguise. Cool Face

I loved him in the Wire, I saw a bright future for him as an actor.
And immediately after that he blew away in Generation Kill.

And then it went quiet around him... and now i read that he struggled with alcohol and heroin

So sad
