It was already too expensive to begin with. No way they will get serious subscriber growth with these numbers.
I know Michael Pachter is quite hated around the internet, but I think he is totally right in saying they need a $5 ad-supported tier and the premium/ultimate shouldn't cost more than $15. At maximum they should match Netflix pricing.
If they really want to cater to a giant 100m+ subscriber base, they are not competing with PlayStation or Nintendo, they are competing against Netflix, Prime, Hulu and whatever for people's time. And no way average Joe will shell out that kind of money for gaming, let alone this pricing totally drives out people in less wealthy countries.

Its only fine if there is a game you want to play and have the time to finish within that month. But ts worth taking into consideration that you have to purchase potential dlc's as you can't just creamapi them like you can for a steam game. Also the fact that multiple games have encrypted saves that cannot be transfered to steam.
been trying to crossplay with someone with a xbox in bl3 ... half the time her game wont even load and she spent all weekend trying resets and reinstalls . fuck xbox
Let me guess: dickhead pete hines says stuff, right? Well, dickhead pete hines can fuck off too, anyone following bethesda from way back when knows the value of anything that comes out of that dickhead's mouth: zero plus losing your time.

One of my friends was telling me that I should not pass up on the opportunity to tell those people in San Francisco that Bill Gates is the antichrist. I will concede that he is certainly a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde-type character. The public Mr Rogers, the neighborhood character. I saw the Mr Hyde version about a year ago, where it was just a nonstop, Tourette’s, yelling swear words, almost incomprehensible what was going on.
He’s not a political leader, he’s not broadly popular, and again, perhaps to Gates’s credit, he’s still stuck in the 18th century alongside people like Richard Dawkins who believe that science and atheism are compatible.
I don’t think even someone like Bill Gates, who I think is a very, very awful person, is remotely able to be the antichrist.
What is he even trying to say? He's all over the place.

He's telling us that no matter how bad Bill Gates is, He (Peter Thiel) is worse. He thinks that he's the antichrist himself. That's what I think anyway.
Ah ok. because trying to read it, it came across as the same vibe as a meth head trying to get a point across:
I dunno man, I think bees are real. Now bees are not wasps, wasps I know. You see I have wasp in my ears. And wasps can die. And sand, lots of sand in the desert. Thats where vultures live, and vultures are harbingers of death. A sign of your mortality you know what I mean? And bees are immortal, so I think they are real.

Good, maybe I am not the only one that read it with the idea he was saying it in a rushed pace, while sniffing randomly, and fidgetly rubbing under his nose.
