Mission Impossible, the recent 2. 6/10
Not sure why these movies exist at all. Like the stunts are done well, it looks great, but there is absolutely nothing special or even remotely satisfying about these movies. I felt zero tension with anything they do. Also not sure why they had to make this feel like the movie series would come to a close with all those tie-ins from previous movies, Spoiler: | only to have them meet up at the end again ready for another mission. |
“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”

Killers of the Flower Moon - 7/10
I wasn't familiar with the Osage Indian murders so this felt like a refreshing(ly sad) watch, despite the drama proceeding at a snail's pace and the protagonists being unbearably daft in their pure evilness. Still, all the actors did a fine job, giving believability to a story that deserves to be known.
Weapons - Longlegs/10
Curiosity prevailed, even though with these kinds of movies all I get in return is often a resounding ( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°). Too silly to be thriller-y, too strung up to have any comedic effect, 'tis the hurrhurr genre curse.

Dear God movies today. Michael Bisping was great as a dumb savage on the other hand

Weapons 7.5/10. Very enjoyable twist on who-done-it/mystery/horror/fantasy crossover.
I wish, toward the end of the movie or even during closing credits they included Gladys' POV with some crazy historic flashbacks.

Don't worry there is Gladys prequel in the work.

Fail Safe - 8/10
Skillfully directed and acted, with a steady dose of tension delivered throughout the entire watch despite the limited technology for the time. It goes to show how the use of close-ups, flashing images with raw sound effects, and a simple static electronic map can produce much more tension than any modern derpy CGI or overly dramatic circuses. Granted, it's essentially the serious version of Dr Strangelove and its ending might be questionable from a rational point of view, but the movie is a remarkable (and terrifying) achievement.
There Will Be Blood - A 9/10 bastard from a basket
I hadn't watched it since its original release, but it certainly didn't feel like 18 years had gone by. That's when you acknowledge that a movie is special, as every scene burns into your mind and never really leaves it. DDL's performance is nothing short of legendary, though Dano manages to keep up with the master despite being visibly drained and in dire need of some milkshake.

The Fantastic Four First Steps 7/10
Much better than expected, probably because it stands on its own and doesn't try to cram in other characters/movies/series
The Elephant Man 8/10
John Hurt is just incredible
The Great Escape 9/10
Almost 3 hours that feel like 30 minutes. Still one of my all-time favorite 'adventure' movies.
The Devils Advocate 7/10
I forgot how good Keanu Reeves actually is in this
The Burbs 7.5/10
Same but with Tom Hanks as a comedy actor
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.
