Went to hospital to do CT of my chest, lungs actually. The technician didn't put that lead shield (apron) on my balls that they usually put.
I realized what happened many hours later when I was already at home.

Now I try to recall my previous CTs trying to pinpoint whether it was one time deal or they stopped performing testies protections alltogether. The technician was female, was it a case of misandry? Wink

Perhaps, she just forgot it.

Can't remember my previous CTs thou. Shocked

Googled it, and some answers say that modern x-ray uses less intensive radiation than it used to, and your genitalia doesn't need protection any longer.

What's your experience with x-rays, CTs recently?

I always got it for X-rays, never got it for CTs

Nope, not needed for most all scans. I can't remember the last time I had one on during a scan. When I was in my 30s?

I had MRI only once in my life. For my neck in 2021. I'm pretty sure, it was in vain, as I was still suffering from my first Covid-19 aftermath paranoia.
