I'd say it's the right amount, with some signature silliness and bizarre bosses as per Kojitradition alongside a more grounded Cold War tone. Hopefully the remake's direct perspective + mouse controls will make the gameplay feel more immersive, as that was my main problem with the emulated version (and all the proper Metal Gear games bar Phantom Pain, which however had a different set of issues).
I am old enough that I don't care too much for performance. Locked 40fps would be ideal for this case with ps5 pro but whatever.
At least they are using pssr. I can't stand fsr3 pixelation.
PSSR is not ideal but it's closer to dlss than fsr is.
My 3080 10gb hates ue5. ps5 pro is obvious choice and I want the disc

Agreed on KC (except for locked 40 fps, although options are always welcomed, I prefer uncapped framerate which is what it is).
But I agree with you on PSSR, people are complaining about the game performing worse and LOOKING worse than base PS5 but people surely didn't watch the whole DF video. Some aspects look much better on PS5 Pro (and more like PC) thanks to PSSR and the overall shadow quality and lighting is much better. Hair and beard too looks atrocious with FSR.
Sad that people are just blindly jumping into conclusions... People expected MGS Delta to run and look as good as a maxed out PC on PS5 Pro

ps5 pro is pretty good but it's more like a match for my 3080 + more vram... which is still mid compared to modern gpus like 5080.
And the uneven framerate could be so easily fixed if ps5 had forced 120hz for all games to raise vrr window. I think it caps at 48fps on low side.

Locked to 60fps. If you unlock the FPS, the game speeds up or down depending on framerate. Also, mouse sensitivity is tied to framerate. Ye olde Japanese developers syndrome.

How is this even a thing if it's a UE game??? It sounds like trying to increase the frames on an emulator.
Performance is trash either way for how the game looks.
Anyway, gave it a try and... I don't know, maybe if I played it back in the day I would appreciate it more, but my god do I find the over the top voice acting of Snake and the dialogue just pure cheese and it's really hard to get in to it.
I think I need to come back to it when I'm in a different headspace so I can maybe enjoy it.
