COMING THIS WINTER: From Squanch Games comes High On Life 2.
An intergalactic conspiracy threatens the fate of humanity! Team up with a wide cast of talking alien guns as you shoot, stab, and skate your way through the exotic locales to take down the bad guys and save your favorite species (humans)!
I don't know anything about game programing, but is the issue the engine or the developers? Seems to me some make quite competent UE5 games and a lot have these weird issues
Does it even matter? Is there a single UA5 game that runs well, doesn't stutter like a motherfucker and is not full of visual artifacts?
You might be tempted to say "ARC Raiders", and that might be true, but there, the developers have chosen to turn off everything that makes UA5 UA5, so it basically uses the UE4 renderer in that game.
As a consumer, seeing a game using this trash angina immediately raises red flags.
Personally as long as i can get engine.ini fixes etc i don't really mind too much. Had that not been possible then i would be fuming also as the games do often run like complete shit. I haven't played Arc Raiders so i wouldn't know about that.
