I hook up my computer on my TV and everything works fine...and i most say that im pretty impressed on how good S-Video look. But i dont know how to hook up my PC to my amp to get digital sound.

Im using my VIVO adapter for S-Video but it doesnt seems to have audio output on that. I have a Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS and this is the available things on my amp. I have an optic fiber THX cable but theres no output for that on the Audigy

I tried to play in Analogic but if turn my back to someone talking to me, i cant hear him.

Any help will be much appreciated

Did u try using one of those digital audio cables that look like a phone cord?

I have a reg dig audio (the gold tipped rca ones or whatever they are called) which I only use for sound from my tv/box to surround sound receiver.
For my xbox 360 and shit like that, I have to use the phone jack dig audio cable.

I'll try to find a pic of what i mean

Edit

Here's the one (not the exact one but the connector type, coax) I use

And here's what I mean, the other type

You can buy an optical/coaxial converter, but they are expensive, like 60€.

All you have to do is run a search, it's not that hard and will not take that long.

From their forum, don't know if it really fits.

Quote:
Creative's 4-pole mini-jack & Digital DIN
You can only get the full use out of this connection when used between Creative Sound Blasters and compatible Creative speaker systems. It is the digital equivalent of the analogue connections, but instead of using 3 stereo sockets, you use just one digital socket. There are 4 conducting connections in the socket (unlike coax which has two) so there are enough connections to carry 3 different digital stereo signals (front R/L, rear R/L and Sub/Centre). You will probably require a 4-pole mini-jack > DIN converter to connect your Creative speakers to this socket. Using this connection will allow you to get surround from games (unlike SPDIF). However the digital DIN input on some Creative speakers can't receive AC3/DTS data, so you may still require an optical/coax connection.

N.B. This digital socket on the Sound Blaster cards doubles as the digital coax output. If you don't have digital DIN, you can use a mono or stereo mini-jack > RCA converter to connect to the coax input on your speakers, as the front R/L or AC3/DTS signals are sent through the tip of the plug.
