It’s not realy a system seller for Sony so it’s free money for them. But I wouldn’t be surprised if the ps6 will get it earlier as an enhanced version launch title.

I played almost 3 hours and the game is just a technical marvel.
The visuals are stunning and personally I think more games should use the Decima engine! The intro was great and was I gobsmacked for the first 30 minutes, the aerial cam view is a really cool new feature that I don’t recall in the first game.
I don’t have a PS5 Pro but the quality mode looks impressive so I’m super jealous of quality mode at 60fps lol. I need the framerate so I’m playing performance mode and it still looks damn good to be honest.
I’m sure the story will have some wild twists but so far it’s very similar with the deliveries not that I’m surprised and not that I mind the gameplay mechanics.
Sandstorms, earthquakes and advanced weather effects are a big addition to the sequel and seeing Sam covered in sand after a trek through a sandstorm was a site to behold, especially when checking him out close with the photo mode, so good.
Anyways I need to sleep but I’ll be playing this again tomorrow after work for sure!
Looks really great, gonna buy for sure. Too bad i won't have the funds to purchase it now or next month.
I thought the first one was kind of cool, played it for like 3h, but i was also thinking if it gets a follow-up it will very likely have better gameplay and perhaps something i'd be more willing to sink time into.

It'll feel more fresh to play the second without having just played the first i bet. I have so many other hobbies that i rather invest in than playing something just "decent".

Very likely. It's around a 1/20 chance i finish anything. I really don't care about the newest for anything though, usually i play games 3-5 years after their release. This just seems far better than the first, which has peaked my interest...
the good thing with PS5 games is i can sell them (i sell like 90% of the PS5 games that i buy). I only buy digital if its something i really want to keep and i'm 100% sure about that i want to keep
And i had 70 usd on my us psn account which i didnt know about. How awesome is that? Sold my old ass ps5 for a pro also so my body and all its cavities is ready!

Haha I kinda gave up on creating threads in the Console section since you’re all PC gamers and this thread already existed. I’m sure Sony will release a port by the end of the year or in the first half of next year.

Damn I thought Norman Reedus was quite accurate in the first game but compared to this image he really isn’t. The upgraded character model in the sequel looks hella upgraded not surprising really though since there’s a whole technology generation between them
