The cancel crowd only cares about spreading hatred and well.. cancelling people, not redeeming them
And companies only care about saving their asses, and they wouldn't risk re-hiring someone like Roiland just to start a shit storm with the aforementioned group
You know this show is done when creativity and being inventive went out of the window and they have to resort to strongly relying on pop culture references and guest movie stars.

All the season feel roughly the same amount of: Eh, its funny enough to watch when it comes out over dinner.
I feel its the building of familiarity and setting expectations you didn't have in the first few that make each season of most shows feel 'less' than when they started.
When you first started watching it, you had no bar to get over of what it should deliver. Everything was taken as is. The more you watch, the more you expect that bar to raise slightly each time. Needs new things, you seen the 'old' new things in past seasons.
Like my son was watching it a few weeks ago on random. We rewatched season 2 ep 4, then season 6 ep (can't remember). Felt about the same, if I looked at both with the same current expectations. If 2ep4 came out now. I would say "man that really felt like a fill in episode. Just a throw away 'body snatchers but for minds' parody"
