With the "vault" being gone I guess many of the actual mods ("overrides") for the game might have been lost and not just the numerous new adventure modules.
(Well technically games since it had a ton of content for NWN1+expansions and NWN2+expansions.)

Haven't played the game in years though so perhaps they've survived on some other website or at least part of that database maybe?

EDIT: Someone was quick to save the nude patch though. Razz
http://nudepatch.net/neverwinter-nights-2-nude-patch/
(Those always survive it seems. Very Happy )

This might help with the camera settings, a bit at least.

Bought it. The original NWN2 seems to be delisted, and the new one is called:

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS NEVERWINTER NIGHTS 2

Not Neverwinter Nights 2. All caps and under 'D' on Steam, because that makes sense.

Pretty much this. Minimal effort seems to have been put into this.

The trailer uses NWN1 main theme. Obsidian is not even mentioned as a developer.

MOTB deserves better than this disgusting cash grab.

Well, if they at least fix the non scaling ui it will be worth an isodemo.

Even with community fixes playing nwn2 nowadays is a pain with the tiny ui.

Calling this an Enhanced edition is a scam though. Compared to what Beamdog did with NWN1 this is nothing worth mentioning.

Was interested in seeing how this would work out, sounds a bit poor but not that unexpected and NWN 2 needs a lot of work, otherwise a solid D&D adventure but then the games that followed were quite poor and the usage of the D&D mechanics faltered a bit, up until Baldurs Gate 3 I would say?

Mask of the Betrayer was also a really entertaining campaign, maybe continued support can improve things but it might just be a quick re-release with UI fixes focused on getting the game up on the console platforms too.

Neon, is it good?

Edit: seems to be a cash grab indeed

According to steam reviews(all claims):

Pro:
*Multiplayer seems to be working with no hassle
*Some ppl have problems launching the game (minority)
*supposedly better camera
*controller support (if that's your thing)

Neutral:
*gfx seem little cleaner but not much difference

Cons:
*people say it introduces new bugs some even in the character creation
*4k leaves ui elements in weird sizes e.g. mouse cursor is huge
*Multiplayer browser seems to be worse than the extended client made by the community for the gog version

Didn't read that many reviews but doesnt seem to be worth it unless you want the mp experience.

OH man I loved NWN1 and NWN2..NWN2 map editor was amazing.
I wasted 2 years of my life running a custom D&D tabletop game in it online, spending more time making/expanding my 'world' map by map as I needed new areas and the traveling places in between. than it took to use them.
Strip all the mobs/NPCs of any scripts and run them like a real tabletop (DM controls/moves/talks for all of them)

I can't comment on the SP campaign as I didn't play it. but MP is damn good. Even better if you custom campaign in it.
I can't remember the website, there was one that was made just for finding DM/players for online custom campaigns in it. I lived on that site for a few months.

Did you love more the NWN1 game or the editor?
