Just finished watching S01 last night. Great show with some good stroy and twists. The show is also quite brutal and visceral, and the acting is excellent – although there are hardly any likeable characters (apart from Hardy's, I suppose), which has been an issue throughout for me.
they keep advertising this as a guy ritchie show but it isnt, its not created by, not written, he only directed 2 ep and is executive producer, compared to netflix the gentleman where he directed 2 ep but written all of them and is also the creator and executive producer
its a retarded marketing gimmick to have some famous person brought in to direct and all of a sudden is his show.....def not true, its the showrunners show
You are ̶p̶r̶o̶b̶a̶b̶l̶y̶ ̶ very right.
Guy Ritchie's fame started with "Lock, stock and two smoking barrels" and "Snatch" perhaps?
His name will and has been abused.
yes, but that wasnt the point, might as well name this a tom hardy tv series
same was with fallout, cashed in on jonathan nolan name, he only directed the 3 episodes and that was it, but they promoted him everywhere and he wasnt the showrunner vs westworld where he was the creator/director/writer....
the creator and writer of mobland is ronan bennett, which he also was creator/writer on the day of the jackal and top boy
