(new) Story focused mod, only EP0 out right now. Pretty good IMO, was around 3-4 hours but it has a bit of running around AYUND it's a bit of a walking simulator, at least 50% of the combat is you going out of your way to kill some mutants...
For some forsaken reason it's locked behind a discord... or not:
1. no dlss support / fsr looks blurry + native no FSR still looks blurry af
2. no ultrawide support - ui and menus are stretched
3. mouse x/y sensitivity ratio is flarked, prob due to ultrawide res. not being supported
4. can't walk anymore / no toggle walk, only hury everywhere like a fucking tiktoker prick
I wonder how many remasters there has been released and the only thing that happened was that it just got worse, like the batman games and whatever, Dark Souls, there's like 20 in the last 15'ish years lol. Seen the same for some re-releases / remasters of TV series, they made it look like absolute ass. They just don't give a shit.
Aren't these enhanced editions just here because they ported them to derpsole anyways? Should have known that the quality just wouldn't be there.

I watched that yesterday evening and at first I thought it was a mod for S2. Honestly, I was shocked. Looks amazing. Just trying to get my head around on the installation process. I'm as thick as two short planks and reading how to do things is beyond hard for me. I have to be shown to learn. Hoping it'll come out soon.

I doubt even 5 of the current GSC gamedevs have the skills, drive and pure autism that most of these modders have. And that's just not with GSC nowadays.

yeah, these old engines are not at all like working with the latest UE. This requires great skills acquired over many years of tinkering.
But yes, we could absolutely have many fantastic games if they instead started gathering the best modders for certain games and then using older engines. Not going to happen.
