You can absolutely nit-pick the performance, but this game runs amazing in comparison to something like FO: NV. Morrowind, well, you have stutters every other 30'ish second because it loads a new section of the map, that is even a thing in the OpenMW, so not even with an entirely new engine they could get rid of it..
