Too be honest the show's writing and consistency in it is garbage. The show is flashy and has relatively high production quality thus maybe that's why people doesn't notice it...

Dude because I edited my original post and linked a review by Chris Avellone. And I disagree with the majority:

Tim Cain liked it, though he disagreed with who used the bomb, at least in his vision it was not how it was played out.
I think it started out great, felt similar to how it is playing Fallout. The later episodes i'd rate maybe 6/10, first episodes 8/10. Maximus was the biggest let down perhaps, such a cool premise, but the actor just isn't very likeable, it's partially a problem with the writing but also the actor i think.

I totally agree about Maximus. He is more anoying than likable for some odd reason.

Hey, i was just glad it wasn't the whole Black guy = lawful good Jesus type character which is where i expected it to go in the first episode.
I liked that skin colour didn't really matter in this show. There was no black/white structure, they were just human characters acting like humans in a Fallout world. No racial politics or commentary, the casting didn't feel political or woke. As for Maximus, he's a good example of someone that is childish while wavering in the grey zone of morality. It made is slightly difficult to really like his character. The actor did a great job though.
This is a great video. I really like BTS clips, as they show how much professional work (and ideally, as in this case, love, care and enthusiasm) is put into creating these shows/films.
Some info and leaked set photos from season 2 production. We'll see some damn recognizable locations in those photos. They began shooting season 2 in November. I guess we'll see S2 in 2026 (or very late 2025 but I doubt it).

‘Fallout’ season 3 plans are reportedly being made — while season 2 is still filming.
