I still hesitate though. I am way too nostalgic over original trilogy and play it on 360 every year or two.
And after finishing GoW4 twice(I liked it, although not as much as original trilogy), I don't want to have anything to do with shitty m$ store. I even reinstalled w10 and never logged into store. I refuse.
I know it sounds crazy to not go for the same game but with better graphics but I like playing some games as I remember them. And this one has this gritty look I fondly remember. Remake looks very soft.
and also 2 and 3 are not on pc, so it would be a bad experience playing 1st game in 60fps modern graphics on pc and then going to 2 and 3 on 360. It's not easy going to those games as is. I replayed whole trilogy in early 2016 and it required some getting used to 720p again. But I had blast with it as always after some time adjusting. I think 2nd game might be my fav. It's just so fucking stupid and fun One is gritty and atmospheric, 3rd is all in one package with great ending.

It was three years ago this month that we first heard the rumor that Gears of War was getting a Master Chief Collection-style remaster, and now it's official. Gears of War: Reloaded, "the most complete version of the original game to date," is set to launch on August 26.
Gears of War: Reloaded will sell for $40, but it's also being offered as a free upgrade for anyone who owns the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, which is available for PC exclusively from the Microsoft Store.

I played half the game on Xbox Series X via Game Pass earlier and had a blast.
Forgot how much fun it is and makes me super hyped for Gears of War: E-Day and a movie if that ever happens!
