I had the same download issue, it downloaded one 80GB game multiple times
Don't forget issues with modding games as well

While gamepass is certainly not free and modability is limited, it is quite worth it if you plan on playing he base game and maybe play a few more. It's not expensive, just cancel the shit straight after subscribing. Saves made from gamepass games do naturally work for yarr and steam games also.
