Gave this game a try again, and wow... it's gotten waaay better in the past 6 months. I'm now really intrigued to see what the full release brings next month.
Gave the most recent version (was it 0.9?) a try. The lore was cool, but both combat and magic felt floaty, spammy, lacked punch, and just generally dated. Kinda killed my enthusiasm for it.

Yeah, but the game mechanics will not change substantially. Which is a shame because as mentioned above, combat feels rather horrible. Although the bow is pretty good. But the AI is utter garbage, which makes the game a helluva less fun than it could be.
To be honest, the time I did invest in this (before I stopped due to the save wipe), I was genuinely impressed, with the world, combat, itemization and more, really. Never thought it would be great but I am really looking forward to this one, seems like there's a lot of depth and hidden things which I love.

Same. But I left it on hold due to Oblivion Remastershit
