Triangle is also one that will blow your mind when trying to figure it out. It's a 'loop timetravel' movie, but with multiple loops and characters intertwining and effecting each other. It's great Very Happy

Apparently, it took the writer/director several years or so to write the scenario. It's supposedly also loophole/error free, there are some crazy explanations out there that try to make sense of it.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1187064/

(spoiler, obviously, but this is the best one. Explains also why the movie is called like that Smile )

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

The Dead Don't Hurt

Watched this because of Viggo, but really suffered in the first 30–40 minutes or so. It got slightly better eventually, but this film is easily skipable.

The Conclave

This was surprisingly good, even though I could not care less about the Church and such. Fiennes was simply fantastic.

Good not great.
After "The Young Pope" & "The New Pope" series --> every church/ vatican movie/ Tv production seems empty to me.

Yeah. It's not "you haven't watched Star Wars Ep.4 YET???"-level but pretty close to "you haven't watched The Matrix YET???"-level.

Gorge 6/10 It's a beautiful movie, reminded me at times Annihalation (2018) and Descent (2005). Anya Taylor-Joy is an alien creature and fun to watch.
They should have gone for the tragic and/or open to interpretation ending in this flick. And, boy, the movie internal logic doesn't exist.
The splicing of horror, romance and action in this film doesn't work for me either.

Triangle - one love. Thou memory loss at some arbitrary stage is too convenient plot device in this one.

Predestination (2014) is in your face timeloop taken to extreme movie.

A Cure for Wellness (2016) - 8,5/10

Postponed this movie for such a long time, partly due to mixed reviews but now finally watched it.
It was really really good, one of the few movies directed by Gore Verbinski after all. Extremely high quality of set design and cinematography.
Atmospheric and a very intriguing story that can be puzzled together by the viewer while watching the movie. It also has one of the most brutal dentist scenes I've ever seen Laughing Highly recommended.

i'm kind of the same, but i've gotten better.

Utterly idiotic to collect stuff, it's faster to just download a 4K movie than to fucking look for where it is on my HDD's Laughing i mean duhhh, let's fill up the drives with movies i'd like to watch, maybe, some day, in 10-14 years Laughing

I stopped collecting movies back in 2011 already. Glad I did.
From 2003 to 2011 I have detailed logs of everything I kept, all the bought and burned DVDs I can throw away now, some of the old x264 are still watchable but they are all 1080p without HDR.

I still have ~1050 DVDRs with movies and music videos I collected and burnt in around teh same time period. It used to be around 1300 DVDRs. I only managed to force myself to sort out 250 of them, dumping some of the content and writing to my NAS the worthy rest. My slim disk drive died in the process, I still have a regular full size PC disk writer. It's a 4k UHD capable one. Is it worth risking its life for reading all those hundreds of old DVDRs, the jury is still out. I the mean time those 4 disk albums with 1050 DVDs are sitting on a shelf.

Oh, I watched Nightmare Alley, the neo noir movie by Guillermo del Toro from 2021. 7/10, I agree with IMDB

The Monkey - wtf did I watched/10
I was going for a horror comedy and got Troma quality writing flick with A24 budget (eg. higher than Tromas). Off-beat sometimes nonsensical dialogues. The characters are weird and acting like unreal very over the top people. If you like Troma or kind-a bad movies you might enjoy this.
