This quick-witted spy drama follows a dysfunctional team of MI5 agents—and their obnoxious boss, the notorious Jackson Lamb—as they navigate the espionage world’s smoke and mirrors to defend England from sinister forces.
The novelty had worn off for me by season 2. If not for Gary, this would be a shitty show – well, mediocre at best. The incompetence of the other "MI-5 exiles" is fucking annoying (they behave like absolute mongs), and the shootout scene in the season 3 finale was so much cringe I could barely watch it to the end.
That being said, Gary Oldman (and his character) are fucking A+.
Heads up for Slow Horses 4-th season titled Spook Street. It airs Wednesdays on Apple TV. First episode was launched on September the 4-th.

This season was more realistic, hence I like it more than the previous one.
I didn't like James Callis as a new First Hand, cause it looks like he is playing the same sleazy character he played back in BSG.

for me too, couldnt finish s2 i gave up. i wouldnt even watch it cuz i mostly hate brit shows but given the popularity i gave it a shot. first season was good, or at least started good but finished ok, was expecting more action or more serious tone but its mostly more towards comedy with some hard to believe moments and cliches.
gary oldman character is the best thing but even that after a while there is no new thing about him and gets old, cartwright after s1 felt irelevant, the other good characters just died, the rest are just not interesting
