Can't believe how well this runs on my GTX1080. I mean even the first one lagged on medium to high settings but this is going smooth as butter at medium settings. Other supposed AAA should learn a lesson for these devs.
Right on time as well since I was getting really bored of small indie games (which are great but no real depth).

1080, best gfx card ever made. I had the Ti-version.
Also, the first miller gave me two quests, upon exiting the conversation, only one was active, the other had no ways to be completed, and didn't even appear anywhere.
I encountered what I believe to be game-breaking bugs quite a few times so far.
I'll pick it up down the road once that shit's fixed, because it's kinda broken right now it seems.
I don't care about textures loading in with a delay, and other ridiculous looking stuff, but this is stupid.

So I randomly saved, pressed OK twice like I always did, and it non only restarted a new game, but deleted all my saves and progress.
That's beyond retarded
Shelving this shit for a while, this bended my pizzle into a pretzel.
What kind of shit bug/UI design would allow for that???
They didn't fix many issues with the UI/UX
The new inventory system is beyond mental. Like, really mental. For KB+M anyway.
The sorting, the UI controls (why no 1, 2, 3 etc for dialogue options??), having to press E/Enter to select dialogue, some of the default binds - awful.
A toggle for SO many of the most popular mods would have made sense. Being able to toggle UI elements as well.
I really love the game, but it's like they ignored so much feedback after the first game.

Man, that left-alt+number choice is terrible. I used to play piano and I can't handle it proper
Also, one of the key issues I had was that, ie:
I sneak on 2 bandits doing their thing.
Bandit 1 doing his thing is well armored, bandit 2 is a total wanker. I sneak behind him with my sword drawn out, and start swinging.
At a range so close I could sniff his ass, three swings in, nothing happens.
Game had to load that dude's aggression (the gold and red combat thingy) for any subsequent hits to start and count.
What kind of idiocy is this?
I tried and tried again with seemingly 2 potential deals:
A) You do what a sneak approach allows
B) You make sure you enemies see you in order for the combat prompt to start showing
I'm obviously still feeling like my pizzle was used as a crank over that save BS and this kind of BS screams "get back in the oven for some time, you uncooked swine".
I don't know if I'm alone with those issues and like I said, haven't touched it since and won't for a while. Losing all progress because of UI isn't something I can tolerate.

And don't get me wrong, they did a swell job at most everything, but there are some pretty flaring and obvious issues that need fixing, and people saying that it's a smooth ride are either pink-tinted glasses idiots, or chills.
Even if I'm a butthurt bitch right now, I'd still give it a raving review in general for what I'm sure it is, but game-breaking shit in the supposedly well-tested, ironed-out beginner part of the game?
My melatonin-heavy friends, plz...

Ended up uninstalling this after losing ANOTHER 40+ minutes of progress and a shit ton of decent loot (obtained from a random encounter) due to a bug. Can't be assed to waste my time on this if they're going to fill the game with a barely functional scripting system that constantly bugs out NPCs and their reactions, all the while massively limiting save-points. Sure, you can mod it, but you shouldn't have to.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

The CE came yesterday but it's way too big compared to the Kickstarter one, so I will sell it

Do I have to play 1st game??
The game does a really good job of filling in what happened in the first. So much so that it's actually annoying. I am 3hrs in and it feels like 95% cutscenes / rehashing what the first game was about.
This is a good recap:

A recap of the first game
If you don't like the first game, you won't like the second, so IMOOOoo start with the first anyway. It'll be cheaper too, if you aren't sailing the seven seas.
Just saw this thing. Guy is overreacting a bit, but at least he pulls arguments directly from the bible and what creators said about Henry years ago. I don't know how I feel about it.
